The [sway strut](http://www.pipingtech.com/products/sway-struts.htm) is also fabricated from carbon steel and measures 24'-8" long. This assembly can support loads up to 27,200 lb. and will be used in an oil refinery in Louisianna. The dimensions are 40" length x 18" width x 85" height and are designed for a 1,784 lb. load with 10" of travel. The constants will be used to support radiant inlet manifolds and have a unique paint applied due to the highly corrosive condition. The assembly consists of a 12 diameter alloy clamp and a PTP Fig. 2100 Hydraulic Snubber with cylinder size of 3 1/4 diameter and 5 stroke load. They are designed to accommodate loads of 25,000 lb. and high temperatures up to 1,100 F. To ensure the products quality, dimension and movement tests were conducted prior to shipment. These hold down clamps are used on pipe lines where there is a high temperature and great thermal movement requirements, they allow axial movement and restrain lateral movement at the same time.
